19th Judicial Circuit Court-Manistee and Benzie Counties

ADR Coordinator/Clerical Assistant

Full time position

Under the supervision of the Chief Judge and Court Administrator is responsible for coordinating all alternative dispute resolution programs within the 19th Judicial Circuit, District and Probate courts in Manistee and Benzie Counties.

Provides clerical support including filing, typing, reception of court visitors and the public, scheduling, assisting attorneys, law enforcement, and the public with court procedure, maintaining the court's law library and monitoring and maintaining vouchers, charges and balances.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of office experience required. Must be able to successfully complete certification with the State of Michigan as a Certified Electronic Recorder within 18 months.

Skills: Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases and spreadsheets and the ability to demonstrate proficiency. Good organizational and written communication skills as well as verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain high confidentiality and independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner.
